Events in the denominations and wider afield
2009		Celebrating 1100 years of the westward expansion of Christianity from Sherborne to Devon. Many events are organised for the year, the climax of which is a Celebration Day in Exeter on Saturday 27th June 2009.	Visit the website for further information.

Please pray for the city of Exeter and its people Creator God, Whose being encompasses all, whose love excludes no-one and no-thing, whose compassion is boundless and eternal: we pray for the people and places of Exeter, for all whose joys and worries, hopes and fears, inhabit these buildings and walk these streets. Pour out your blessings, we ask, and may your Holy Spirit be both guardian and guide in the ceaseless activities of city life. This we ask in the name of the Christ. Amen.
